Cincinnati Crane & Hoist in the Community

Cincinnati Crane & Hoist staff members raised money and participated in the 5K Run to Honor Veterans“It was a cold and windy day, but we made it.”  said Veteran and CCH staff member John Botts who ran the whole race in uniform and with full gear.

Cincinnati Crane & Hoist staff members participate in The Patriot Cup, an annual skeet shoot benefiting the Greater Cincinnati Better Business Bureau.  “We sponsor a station at this event every year because it supports ethics education for business owners and that benefits everyone,” said Tony Strobl, president of CCH.

Cincinnati Crane & Hoist Company President, Tony Strobl was invited to Washington, DC by Techsolve to assist in their efforts to educate members of Congress on the need to support Manufacturing Assistance Programs.  It was an honor to represent Ohio manufactures on capital hill.” said Strobl.  By sharing the CCH story with our nations leaders, we hope to see these programs continue for years to come.

During the summer of 2017, Cincinnati Crane & Hoist participated in the Ohio Export Internship Program and added interns from Wright State and Denison University to the team. The program, organized by the Ohio Development Services Agency, connects students from across the state with small businesses to promote trade. Our interns assisted CCH in determining export opportunities in Canada and Mexico and were recognized for their accomplishments by Wright State and Denison University.

CCH sponsored Office Manager Sarah Ashpaw, who ran in the Flying Pig Marathon for the 2nd year in a  row.  Sarah trains hard throughout the year for this marathon and she works out, lifts weights and often trains with her family members.  She is an inspiration to us all in the office.  “Way to go Sarah we are so proud of you!”

Cincinnati Crane & Hoist was a sponsor of the Lawrenceburg HS Bass Fishing Team, shown here is Reid Strobl, CCH Apprentice and Big Time bass fisherman.  Reid is now an outstanding member of the DBU Fishing team in Dallas, TX.

Cincinnati Crane celebrates another great year working with the Ohio Export Internship Program!  Ohio State student Angela Zhange brought a ton of great skills and useful knowledge to the company this year.  With her help we have been able to implement useful productivity tools, improve our website, enhance our brand and as a logistics major she has even helped CCH create its own trucking division.

A Featured Speaker at the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce – Cyber Security Event, Tony Strobl discussed the need for legislation and added budget appropriations to protect small businesses from theongoing threat of cyber-attacks, sphere fishing and ransom wear. “Every day the US Economy is under attack. Congress must do more to protect us against this growing form of terrorism” said Strobl.
