    Rudy The Safety Hound

Rudy, a pure bread basset hound, was born in summer of 2016 on a farm in Southwest Ohio. She was adopted by Cincinnati Crane & Hoists office manager Sarah Ashpaw and her family a short time later. Rudy has a playful personality. She is strong and healthy with a wonderful howl. Rudy works at Cincinnati Crane and Hoist in the human resources department where she fulfills three basic roles: crane safety tipster, CCH company ambassador, and employee health and happiness adviser.

In her role, Rudy works with employees that may encounter stress issues by brightening up the office atmosphere. She is at her best when being fed, petted, and when on a break. Rudy also enjoys long walks to the mailbox, a game of NO-YOU fetch the ball, company parties involving leftovers, Chobani yogurt, chasing frogs, and engaging with visitors. You can read Rudy’s crane safety tips right here on our website homepage or by following Cincinnati Crane on Twitter.

    Rudy the Safety Hound

    Tip #23

Go to a training and certification class at Cincinnati Crane & Hoist to obtain your Certified Crane Operator license! Gain the knowledge of how to safely and effectively operate a crane with some of the best trainers in the business.

    Tip #18

Check the hook. If it’s out of shape, don’t use it. This may indicate internal damage.
